PROFESSSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MEETING
SEPTEMBER 11, 2019
5:30 - 9:00 PM
at
The Pepsi Center (Continental Divide Room) with a Tour!
Speaker: Glenn Gooding

Topic: Smart Supply Chains
You asked for it – we got it! Glenn Gooding, President of iDrive Logistics will lead a discussion on modern transportation techniques while demonstrating the application of the CLTD class. Many of us live through the daily challenges of transportation, yet don’t often see a different perspective. A great way to grow and improve is by talking with others about how they get it done.
We are honored to host Glenn, who offers a unique, multi-dimensional perspective built from a diverse career in small-parcel and LTL logistics. Glenn’s sophisticated understanding of carrier networks and revenue models allows for valuable insight on the mechanics and state of the industry. His thought-leadership provides the nexus for intelligent strategies for those desiring to be a symbiotic component of the greater market.
Glenn applies the strategies developed over the course of his career to assist a variety of businesses in optimizing logistics operations and expense, with client spends of $250k to $100mm+ annually. Glenn began his career at UPS, working through the ranks in industrial engineering and revenue management roles. This culminated in multiple assignments with the Corporate and Special Pricing groups, where he managed carrier revenues relating to the largest enterprise customers.
After leaving UPS Glenn went on to become a partner with BirdDog Solutions, which was later acquired. In 2016 Glenn became President of iDrive, where he applies the advisory firm’s Cost Model Approach to assist shippers in building best-in-class parcel supply chains.
Glen has been featured as a speaker at several conferences over the past few years, including eCommerce Operations Summit, Parcel Forum, and the National Postal Forum. His perspectives have been featured by Bloomberg, among several other news and industry publications. He very much looks forward to joining us for an impactful presentation and discussion.
