Professional Development Meeting

March 14, 2018

Topic: "Stop the Madness!"

Speaker: Gregg Piburn

Location: Renaissance Flatirons

Join us as we learn how to shift the culture of overwhelming schedules & tasks in a way that is beneficial to ourselves, our organization and others.

In this chaotic business climate, workloads seem to be constantly expanding. In this presentation get some tips on how to (1) add even more significant value and (2) enhance your job satisfaction (thus, “both/and”). You can also reap those two benefits without adding hours to the workweek. This session is NOT a time-management training designed to treat participants as human assets who should be productive every second of the day. Instead, it treats participants as human beings who have a job and want to do it well.

As a longtime team and personal coach, Gregg finds that many individuals are frustrated, confused and/or swamped by workloads that seem to expand time and again. The goal of this workshop is to help participants work through the process in order to:

  1. Add more value than ever before,
  2. Increase their job satisfaction, and
  3. Not work more hours than in the past.

Gregg currently lives in Loveland and is President of Leader’s Edge Consulting, and has presented on the topic of “Courageous Conflict Resolution” to our group previously. He has been an independent consultant and personal coach for 26 years. He gets a real kick out of helping groups and individuals get on with what they’re good at and excited about. Gregg is a published author (“Beyond Chaos”) and former award-winning journalist and award-winning public-relations manager for Hewlett-Packard. He also had brief stints as a movie actor, country-western singer, rodeo bull rider, and Denver Bronco wide receiver. But that’s another story.
