TOPIC: “The Data Management Journey”

Join us as Steve presents takes us on a journey of data management.

     We will learn about the gathering of data digitally and the implementation of a digital supply chain. He will discuss the value to companies and where to start.  The discussion will focus on successful examples of companies changing business processes, thus allowing them to stand out from their peers… without getting bogged down with an entire, ocean-boiling, implementation.

Steve is currently employed by DSI Global. DSI has been working for over 20 years to eliminate paper-based processes and manual data entry by collecting inventory, warehouse, production, workforce and other supply chain information across organizations as the work happens. They have certified integrations with Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, JD Edwards World, NetSuite, SAP, IFS, Microsoft Dynamics AX, and Infor.

     Steve has held the positions of General Manager, Plant Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager, and Lean Leader. Immersed in a variety of industries and cultures, Steve worked in the USA, Mexico, Switzerland, Germany, and Spain. He has worked with a variety of (MRP, ERP, TMS Etc.) software packages, proudly declaring that his “first MRP was a 3-ring binder”

   Steve has 17+ years of experience working with business applications and processes in a variety of industries both as a consultant and as a user. Steve transitioned from industry to software in 2009 as a Solution Consultant and Business Consultant. Since then, he has worked in Fashion, Food and Beverage, Equipment Sales & Rental, and General Manufacturing

Steve’s areas of expertise include sales, procurement, warehouse management, product management (including attribute management) manufacturing, production planning and scheduling, production forecasting, procurement, and logistics.
