Join us as Julia Hubbel discusses aspects of risk reduction/supplier relationship management (SRM). SRM is the discipline of strategically planning for, and managing, all interactions with third party organizations that supply goods and/or services to an organization in order to maximize the value of those interactions

Julia Hubbel is an international professional speaker, prize winning author and WBE who specializes in teaching minority, veteran and women owned companies how to do business with the Fortune 500. Julia’s programs are used by NMSDC and WBENC Councils and Fortune 500 corporations who want to expand their minority, veteran and women spend. Her clients include Altria, BNSF, Cargill, Tyco, Hewlett Packard, Southern California Edison, Southwest Airlines, Archer Daniels Midland, Lockheed Martin, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Ernst & Young, Bank of America, Pitney Bowes and Cisco Systems.

Julia is a regular presenter for the Institute for Supply Management and writes on supplier diversity and supply chain for several national publications. She is an ISM Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity. She is the only WBE, CPSD, disabled veteran and professional speaker who specializes in supporting WBEs, MBEs and veterans to get into the corporate supply chain. Julia served as a journalist and television producer in the US Army.

Julia is the author of two prize-winning books: WordFood: How We Feed or Starve Our Relationships, and Tackling the Titans: How to Sell to the Fortune 500, the handbook for diverse and veteran suppliers.
