The APICS Colorado chapter is pleased to announce a joint Professional Development meeting with the local Colorado chapter of the Society for Information Management. Please join us to explore the true meaning of Collaboration as we discuss various business problems with business leaders from Johns Manville. The evening will feature networking, expanding our networks and discussing solutions to common business issues Supply chain practitioners face with our Information Technology colleagues.
About the speakers:

Randy Weldon is currently the Director of Integrated Supply Chain Management in the IT Department of Johns Manville. The scope of Randy’s IT role includes helping automate, integrate, optimize and transform end-to-end business processes from Marketing and Sales through Purchasing, Manufacturing, Order Management, Logistics and Finance. Major automation platforms include SAP, SalesForce.com, Adobe CQ, and others. Mr. Weldon previously served as CIO at Geneva Pharmaceuticals, CIO at Douglas County (CO) School District, and Director of Information Systems Consulting at Storage Technology Inc. Prior to those roles, he spent many years as a Consulting Manager at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). He earned an undergraduate degree in Management Science from Colorado State University and an MBA in International Business from the University of Colorado at Denver. He is a native of Durango, Colorado, is married and has two grown children.

Randy Deitemeyer is currently a Business Process Manager on the Integrated Supply Chain team at Johns Manville, a Berkshire Hathaway company. Prior to his current role, Randy served as a Senior SAP implementation consultant for IBM Global Business Services, specializing in both mill products and semiconductor manufacturing. Randy earned an undergraduate degree in Business Management from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona, and also holds professional certifications in production and inventory management (APICS CPIM) as well as SAP Supply Chain Management. Randy currently resides in Denver, Colorado with his wife and two children.
The Society for Information Management (SIM) is a not-for-profit organization of information technology experts, including CIO's, CTO's and emerging IT leaders, as well as key professionals within the IT community, such as academicians and consultants. SIM's mission is to support IT leaders in the greater Colorado area by increasing the knowledge base of members, giving back to local communities, increasing awareness on issues of importance to our local community, developing the next generation of effective IT leaders and establishing a forum to bring together IT professionals across industries
