This month the Colorado Chapter is combining a tour with a dinner meeting. The tour will be an excellent opportunity to see growth of a cottage industry from a family operation. Those that have been here before will really be able to see the changes. The guest speaker, Julie Balistreri, and staff will provide a guided tour of their new facility and operations. Attendees will be able to sample Balistreri’s extensive wine list. The Balistreri winery now has a library of wines reserved for special reasons. They are elite wines that either have received awards at international wine competitions or are personal favorites.
Balistreri Vineyards is a family-owned and operated winery dedicated to making fine quality wine. John Balistreri’s wines are completely natural, with a very approachable, easy-drinking style. He combines both traditional wine-making methods and modern technology to produce award winning wines that are handcrafted, one barrel at a time, with grapes that are fermented on their own yeast, unaltered by sulfates, unfiltered, unfined and aged in American oak.
The one hour educational portion of our Professional Development Meeting earns you one maintenance point. Join us at Balistreri Winery for our PDM/Tour.
