September Topic

Ever Wonder Why You “Click” With Some and “Clank” With Others?

Why is that person so difficult to have a discussion with? How can some people make major decisions with so little data? Some people think it is all about them? Why can’t he just make a decision without taking a month to do so? Why does he not understand what I am saying? Any of these questions sound familiar? This month’s speaker, Don Overcash, will answer these questions as he helps us understand the basic principles of DISC – a personal assessment tool which classifies a person’s preference by classify their behavior patterns of dominance, influence, steadiness, and consciousness. Don will help you understand how to maximize your strengths and minimize your weaknesses in communicating and relating to other individuals.

Don has developed and grown successful businesses for more than 30 years. He has served as president of three companies where he excelled at revitalizing businesses by building strong management teams. He was a Sandler Training client for 12 years and credits much of his success to the Attitudes-Behaviors-Techniques of the Sandler Training system. In 2009, Don joined Top Line Growth, Inc., an authorized licensee of Sandler TrainingSM. Don works with CEOs, presidents, business owners, sales managers and sales professionals, to improve top line performance and bottom line profitability. Don currently teaches business at Colorado Christian University. He received his B.S. Pharmacy from the University of Illinois College Of Pharmacy and his MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management.

Company Coordinators will meet 5:30 before this month’s PDM. Please plan on attending if you are or would like to be a company coordinator
