Internet of Things (IoT), RFID, and Hands-Free Picking are some of the key buzz words used when talking about the modern warehouse. But, how does this relate to you and your needs? Better yet, is the technology in the warehouse older than your employees? |
Regardless of the average age of your employees in your warehouse, the technology in their Smartphones is out-pacing the technology most warehouses Today’s technology can offer a high-level of visibity into your day to day operations; but what do you choose and when’s the right time to adapt the new technolgy?
With Ecommerce expecting to grow to around $4.5 Trillion over the next 3 years, warehouse operations is being pressured to change to meet the needs of the future. With an increase of over 140% in the next 3 years, the needs to modernize warehouse operations and implement new technology is paramount. October’s Professional Development Meeting will not only explore the new trends in the warehouse; but also practical and thoughful solutions you and your company might be able to implement.
